Gina Nakhle Koller

Nata nel 1982 in Libano, è illustratrice e fumettista. Il suo lavoro affonda le radici nelle sue origini libanesi e palestinesi. Cresciuta tra le difficoltà di una regione turbolenta, Gina ha scoperto che l’arte è un potente strumento di auto espressione e di storytelling, un mezzo per entrare in contatto con la sua identità e per far luce sulle storie mai raccontate del suo popolo. La Palestina rimane un tema centrale nel lavoro di questa artista, alimentando la sua passione nel creare un’arte che catturi la resilienza, le lotte e l’umanità del suo popolo. Nel 2013 ha conseguito un Master of Arts in Illustration in Svizzera dove ore vive, approfondendo il suo impegno nel raccontare attraverso le narrazioni visive. La sua arte trascende i confini, invitando il pubblico a vedere il mondo attraverso la lente dell’empatia e a dialogare con le voci di coloro che troppo spesso non vengono ascoltati.

Born in 1982 in Lebanon, is an Comic Artist whose work is deeply rooted in her Lebanese and Palestinian heritage. Growing up amidst the challenges of a turbulent region, Gina discovered art as a powerful tool for self-expression and storytelling, a means to connect with her identity and shed light on the untold stories of her people. Palestine remains a central theme in Gina’s work, fueling her passion to create art that captures the resilience, struggles, and humanity of its people. In 2013, she pursued a Master of Arts in Illustration in Switzerland where she lives now, deepening her commitment to storytelling through visual narratives. Gina’s art transcends borders, inviting audiences to see the world through the lens of empathy and to engage with the voices of those too often unheard.
